Tignes shares L'Espace Killy with Val d'Isere and therefore shares over 300 kilometres of ski pistes, including 92 lift systems and two underground funiculars which will transport you 3000 metres in a mere seven minutes. The most popular area to ski is Grande Motte with blue, red and black ski runs and a decent covering of powder. In fact, L'Espace Killy is listed as one of France's 'snow-sure' resorts so snow-cover is often very good and very reliable. The hotel is within an easy walk of both the nursery slopes and the Tufs chair and a little further afield you'll find well-regarded off-piste paths.
