Luxury Ski Holidays

The green runs, Mickey and Belvedere, are just outside Le Portetta, which is a ski-in, ski-out hotel. Courchevel 1650 is the most relaxed ski resort in the Courchevel vicinity and perfect for those with children. The higher slopes of Courchevel 1850 are still easily accessible, although the snow quality at 1650 is so good you might not even want to ascend further. Courchevel 1650 is so called due to its altitude; when the purpose-built ski resort was originally built, the inhabitants were disgruntled by the proposed title - Courchevel Dessous/ Lower Courchevel, so a compromise was made with Courchevel 1650.
