I walked into Le Bristol Paris wondering how I would be welcomed at this establishment, the hautest of Parisian chicness, style and sense of place. But I need not have fretted, for there was not a hint of French aloofness or Parisian surliness in the air, as is often the stereotypical attitude of less venerable establishments here in town. Instead, there were smiling, welcoming faces in this cast of genuinely courteous staff members.
Le Bristol Paris, when it first opened in 1925, was designed to impress all who passed through her doors. And nothing has changed. It’s a glittering array of elegant marble, beautiful rugs, antique furniture and sparkling chandeliers. The hotel feels special, original and unique with a personality, and decor to match, all of its own.
Apart from exceptional Michelin star dining, one of city’s best spas and the wonderful Le Bar du Bristol (featuring France’s leading mixologist, Maxime Hoerth), it’s the people, both guests and staff that make this hotel so very special.
But perhaps the ultimate luxury is not in fact reserved for you or me as Le Bristol Paris is not our private domain. For two of France’s most famous felines, beautiful Persians call this place home: Fa-Raon and his lovely companion, Kleopatre. You’re bound to run into them and immediately fall in love. It’s in the air here.
