There is much to do and enjoy at Lake Timara Lodge, from walking the Queen Charlotte Track and admiring the native bush and bird life, to horse riding and climbing opportunities. An added bonus is the year-round whale watching available and swimming with dolphins and seals in nearby Kaikora. Perhaps the most accessible activity is the Johnson Estate Vineyard located next to Lake Timara Lodge. Here you can tour and sample some of Malborough's finest grapes including Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir - these vineyards produce a large quantity of fruit for one of the world's best wine regions - Spy Valley.
