This delightful beach lodge is set on Galu Beach, on the far south of the Kenyan Coast, and is the perfect place to escape to. Each room and cottage has its own distinctive character and is furnished with Swahili handicrafts and antiques. The eclectic layout means that guests can hide away in any of the nooks and crannies secreted around the grounds, enjoy the spa or spend the day relaxing by one of the pools. If you feel the need to mingle, then head to the library or explore the East African Reef - diving from Kinondo is superb and great reef-dives can be enjoyed five minutes from the shore.

Luxury Diving Holidays

Diving on the East African Reef is superb and divers need only travel five minutes from shore to experience a fabulous reef-dive. Snorkelling is also a popular activity.

Luxury Hotel Experiences

Excursions along the coast to nearby islands, exploring rivers looking for crocodiles, visits to Kinondo village and a day-trip into the Mombasa area are available at an additional charge. Golf and safari excursions can also be arranged.

The lodge is located on a gorgeous white-sand beach, perfect for chilling out with a good book.

Children are welcome at Kinondo Kwetu. Cots and extra beds are available, on request.

Location and Transfer

Situated on the south coast of Kenya. International flight to Nairobi (or Mombasa) Airport, followed by a light aircraft flight to Ukunda Airstrip and a car transfer. NB: Visas are required for Kenya.
