Be sure to stop for an afternoon espresso and watch this energetic city pass by.

When you have completed your day of shopping and sightseeing, retire back to your hotel for a rest before dinner – perhaps sip on Prosecco and enjoy an aperitif at the hotel lounge while pondering where to spend your evening in this prestigious yet romantic city, and feel the anticipation rise for the next day’s events!

The towns around the lake, with the possible exception of workaday Peschiera, are all pretty, pleasant places to stay. Most of your travelling is likely to be over the lake or by road around the perimeter; either way, you could spend a lot of time travelling if you haven’t done a little homework before you go.
