In general the best time to visit Canada is between May and September - which is also the best time for Black Bear viewing. July and August are the best months, when temperatures are moderate, though autumn months can be beautiful, as the leaves begin to turn to vibrant shades of red. Winter draws in from September, bringing cold nights from November through to February, when temperatures may fall below freezing.
