Leisure Facilities
Access to the slopes is a ten minute walk from Hotel Schloss Lebenberg or short complimentary shuttle bus ride into Kitzbuhel. A well-preserved medieval town affording spectacular mountain views, Kitzbühel is a great choice for beginners and intermediates, with long runs and six ski and snowboarding schools on offer. It is also truly friendly for non-skiers. The resort plays annual host to the Hahnenkamm, the most spectacular event on the World Cup calendar. However, when not prepared for racing, this famous course (known as the Streif) is an enjoyable red run that is typical of the resort's mainly intermediate skiing. The ski schools cater for skiing children, but there isn't a non-ski kindergarten. After skiing, the pedestrianised centre of the resort, tucked within the old city walls, comes alive with its excellent selection of restaurants, lively discos, piano bars and nightclubs. Cross-country, tobogganing, hang-gliding, sleigh rides, parapente, skating and nearby hot-air ballooning are also on offer.
The Lebenberg Wellness Tower is home to the fabulous Vital and Beauty Centre. Step inside and the overall feeling of relaxation and the fantasy of 'floating on a pink cloud' is emphasised by the soft salmon tones of the interiors. There's a host of treatments to choose from, including stimulating and relaxing body packs, massages, peelings, face treatments, manicure, pedicure, non-surgical energetic face lifting, acupuncture and speciality baths for embellishment and regeneration. There's also the legendary self-contrived sauna-wrap-cure, which reduces, tightens and forms the figure. The result is both visible and measurable and some overseas guests come here purely to take advantage of this particular treatment. In addition, The Tower offers a gymnasium and a meditation room, as well as a 46 metre panoramic rooftop pool with breathtaking views.
The hotel offers a complimentary kindergarten service with a supervised children's playroom. The two-room duplex suites and spacious apartments offer comfortable family accommodation
