The hotel provides the perfect base to embark on the acclaimed Inca Trail. The routes, many of which are of original Incan construction, integrate a network of three overlapping trails. You will pass through various Peruvian terrains including alpine forest, mountain-side and cloud covered landscapes before arriving at the magnificent Machu Picchu. En route, the presence of ancient civilisation such as Inca ruins, stone stairways, tunnels and rocky pathways can all be observed. However, due to erosion concerns, the number of tourists allowed to trek the route has been limited by the Peruvian government; only five-hundred people are permitted daily so early booking is necessary.
