Discover Scuba Diving
Experience the thrill of diving under the close supervision of a PADI instructor. This three-hour course consists of a theory briefing and a confined water session up to 12 metres (40 feet). Participants in this course must be over 12 years old.
Orientation Dive
Guests are required to participate in an orientation dive before engaging in boat diving activities if you have not been diving within the last three months and/or have fewer than 30 logged dives. Orientation dives are conducted daily in the lagoon.
All participants must be physically fit and able to swim. Please present your certification card and log book when you register for diving. All divers are advised to refrain from diving 12 hours after international flights or 24 hours before travel by air including a seaplane. A medical questionnaire must be completed prior to your first dive at either one of the Four Seasons Maldives resorts. Depending on your responses to the questionnaire, you may be required to pass a complimentary medical examination with the doctor.
Bubblemaker Experience
This expereince is for children between 8 and 12 years of age - meet at the swimming pool where a team of experienced instructors will guide you through the steps to exploring the underwater world.

Turtle Rehabilitation Centre
In conjunction with the Maldivian Sea Turtle Conservation Programme, Four Seasons Resorts Maldives have initiated a series of projects to protect, monitor, relocate, release, rear and rehabilitate Maldivian sea turtles. Since 2010, the Rehabilitation Centre has nurtured and cared for nine severely injured turtles, seven of which have been successfully released back in to the wild.
One of the Centre's greatest successes is Olivia, an Olive Ridley turtle who came to the centre to recover from a nasty head injury. She was released in February 2012, equipped with a satellite-tracking device mounted on her carapace. Because there has been so little research into Olive Ridley turtles, Olivia is a pioneer for her species, contributing to valuable research into the movements of the world’s smallest sea turtles.
