Location and transfer

Peter Island’s private launch leaves every Tuesday and Saturday from Charlotte Amaille St Thomas USVI and takes approximately 1 hour, 10 minutes. Helicopter transfers are available on request.

The interior of Falcon’s Nest is the stuff of legends; spread across 22,000ft² of internal space are six en-suite bedrooms, all boasting private terraces, a generously-appointed open-plan living room, commercial-standard kitchen and a dining area with a large, tiger-maple dining table seating up to twelve guests. Facilities include flat-screen televisions, a media room, fitness room and an impressive spa suite enjoying gorgeous ocean views. If you’re staying with children, there’s spacious quarters for a Nanny and enough space for twelve guests to stay comfortably, without feeling on top of one another.

The Chef is on-hand to prepare delicious, personalised meals in the kitchen. Alternatively, guests can venture down to the main resort and dine at one of the restaurants, enjoy a drink at Drakes Channel Lounge or request the Tradewinds Wine Room which houses a twelve-seat dining table complemented by a Master Sommelier, creative Chef and a selection of carefully chosen beverages.

External facilities at the villa

With views spanning the beach, island and ocean, you will no doubt want to spend most of your time outdoors – and why not, when there’s 4,000ft² of it to enjoy? The two-tiered infinity-edge swimming pool beckons with a skyscraper waterfall, Jacuzzi/grotto and a swim-up bar, while the outdoor barbecue calls for alfresco dinners and indulgent cocktails on the terrace.

Villa staff details

Staff included: Valet, Chef, Villa Manager, Housekeeper and a Groundsman, plus a chauffeur-driven vehicle.

Property Highlights:+

Whilst the villas provide plenty of space and secluded surroundings for family groups with younger children, it should be noted that the resort itself discourages children under eight years of age.

Scuba Diving

Guests can take a twenty-minute boat ride to over thirty impressive dive sites. The resort’s onsite diving and water sports professionals are experienced and enthusiastic and will delight in taking you to some of the area’s copious diving spots – including Carrot Shoal, with its famous Black Tip Reef, as well as Shark Point, Truck Reef and an awesome underwater bar. And because this is the terrain of the world’s most prolific pirates, who knows what you will find in the depths of the ocean?

Spa & Wellness

The spa is positioned on Big Reef Bay and provides 10,000ft² of harmonious space in the most idyllic island location. Offering organic and predominately Ayurvedic-based treatments, this superior cliff-edge sanctuary boasts a meditation pool, relaxation lounges, pergolas and a hot tub, as well as specialised doctors on-hand to rejuvenate and revitalise. Beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures (conducted while you relax in luxurious heated seats) are also available, as are private yoga lessons, solitary sunbathing spots and brisk walks.

The Beach

Peter Island is the fifth largest island in the British Virgin Islands and is, therefore, saturated in beautiful, pearly-white coastline. From the resort itself, five stunning beaches can be accessed, the main beach being Deadman’s Bay. Due to the island’s exclusivity, it’s not uncommon to have vast stretches of sand to oneself and guests can request to be dropped off at a neighbouring beach with a packed picnic. With no crowds, no noise and no ship-loads of cruise-goers flooding the island, this is exotic, barefoot luxury at its most authentic.

In Addition

Peter Island has devised its own ‘Villa Programme’ which ensures your every request is fulfilled; from food, beverage and entertainment needs, to preferred wines, pillow types and DVD collections. To oversee these arrangements, each villa is assigned a Villa Manager and additional staff can be arranged on request, subject to a surcharge. Furthermore, villa guests are granted full access to all of the main resort’s facilities, restaurants, spa and water sports.
