Set in twelve acres, accommodation is authentic in design: wooden balustrading, fretwork and shuttered windows angled out onto the beautiful gardens, where brightly coloured birds flit among the branches of mahogany and frangipani trees. The Luxury Cottage/Suites and the Plantation Suites have their own plunge pools and outstanding interior design.

Luxury Family Holidays

Children are welcome, except 15 January to 15 March when under 12 years cannot be accommodated. Children under the age of 5 years are not allowed in the dining room or lounge after 7:00 p.m

Playground & Creche
There is an unsupervised playground available for children up to the age of 10 years. There are swings, a slide and a playhouse.  A creche is attached to the playground and supervision is available for 2 - 8 year olds between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Babysitting
Reliable ladies are contacted for nanny and babysitting services. Please note charges are payable locally.

Family Programme 
There is a special summer family programme for all children between the ages of 2 and 12 years . All features listed below are available weekly at no additional charge:

• 2 half hour tennis lessons 
• 2 hours per day of supervised care for children between 2 and 8 years- Monday to Friday

Restaurants 
Children's room service (dinner) is available between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. - parents can review the children's menu and arrange their dinner with the Maitre D' by noon. For younger babies, the chef is happy to organize blended food (fresh vegetables, etc). The hotel requests that children under 5 years are not brought into the restaurant during dinner service and that when children are in the restaurant during the day, if they become restless or noisy, that parents be kind enough to take them for a "brief walk". Breast feeding is not permitted in the restaurant or lounge.

Luxury Spa Holidays

The luxury spa set in a colonial inspired building, combines classic charm with super-chic design to create the perfect ambience for a number of spa facilities and treatments. It boasts four treatment rooms (each one with its own garden) and a couples' outdoor pavilion, an open-sided relaxation room, outdoor hydro pool with shaded cabanas, a thermal room and mani/pedi room. The team of highly skilled therapists offer a range of luxurious and indulgent massages, facials and beauty treatments.
