For some people, the ideal ski chalet has to be quintessentially rustic; clad with wooden beams, crackling fireplaces and the perennial smell of pine cones, while for others, returning to a modern and minimalist space is key to ski-chalet satisfaction. Chalet Paradies falls somewhere in between. There is a traditional open fireplace, but it's sleek, chic and built into the wall and although it's constructed from natural wood and stone, the rooms have block-colour walls and contemporary aesthetics. Deluxe services haven’t been left behind either – guests can expect Laurent Perrier Champagne on arrival and six days of catered breakfasts, afternoon tea and four-course dinners created and served by the chalet cook and host. Complimentary beer, soft drinks and mixers, as well as wine pairing, daily newspapers and morning tea are all guaranteed to enhance your stay, while childcare services and a Chalet Manager ensure guests feel constantly well looked after.

Leisure Facilities

Luxury Hotel Experiences

While staying at Chalet Paradies, guests receive an elegant Champagne reception, daily English newspapers, Ren toiletries and broadband internet is available on request.

Luxury Ski Holidays

The village of Zermatt enjoys an idyllic, car-free location at the foot of Matterrhorn Mountain. A former farming village, the area is now awash with ski hotels, facilities and a feisty après-ski scene, although its natural charm remains – thanks to the beautiful chalets, narrow lanes and wooden barns. With more than 300km of ski runs to enjoy, Zermatt is a good choice for established skiers, boasting 39 blue runs, 113 red and 43 black, and just a sprinkling of beginner’s clubs. Accessing the pistes is relatively simple, with a new and improved ski system which runs from 8am every day and finishing as late as 5pm during seasonal months, while the snow is also impressive - the climate is relatively dry, the slopes are high and snow-making is extensive. Post-ski opportunities are endless; there’s an extensive helicopter service as well as two ice rinks and a magnitude of restaurants, bars, tearooms and patisseries. Take the cable car up to Klein Matterhorn or enjoy freshly prepared crepes on the resort’s main street – Bahnhofstrasse; in Zermatt, it’s as much about the social scene as it is about the skiing.

Luxury Ski Chalets

The chalet is within easy reach of the Klein Matterhorn ski lift, enjoys impressive views across the Matterhorn and is just a fifteen minute walk to the village centre.

Luxury Family Holidays

Pre-book a private nanny service and children can be taken to and from their ski lessons and kept entertained with a varied and imaginative activity programme. Healthy home made lunches and snacks are provided and babysitting is available on request. A wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers can also be provided.

Location and Transfer

3 hours from Geneva to Tasch, followed by a 10 minute train transfer into Zermatt
