Activities on-site:
The Cape Lodge Gourmet Retreat and Cookery School offers a range of fantastic food and wine experiences, from cookery masterclasses, to gourmet events throughout year. The ‘Fresh is Best’ two-hour cooking class caters for beginners to the more experienced cook, and allows participants to observe and pick up tips from the Chef as he prepares the evening's dinner.

Activities nearby:
Visit the wineries, many of which have excellent restaurants, and sample chocolates, cheese and other foods at artisan micro-factories. There is horse-riding at The Horse Resort – a farm that offers guided riding experiences for riders of all levels of ability. You can walk along the ‘Cape to Cape Walk Track’. If you’d like to find out more about the Aboriginal culture, the Wardan Aboriginal Centre is worth a visit, or if you are interested in wildlife, whale-watching tours are available between June and December. If you’d prefer to get in the water, you can take a surfing lesson, or head to Geographe Bay where there is a shipwreck to scuba-dive around.
