Belmond Governor’s Residence, located in Yangon's elegant Embassy Quarter, is a Colonial-style mansion dating back to the 1920s and was once the residence of the ruler of Burma’s southern states. The pretty landscaped gardens feature ceramic pools with floating lotus flowers, whose centrepiece is a fan-shaped swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, while guest rooms and suites are decorated with cottons and silks and have a mini-bar, desk, sitting area, satellite television and complimentary internet connection, with either an inner courtyard, garden or pool view.
