Atlantis’ Aquaventure water park, complete with rides and rapids, is unique and the ‘Shark Attack’ propels those brave enough along a tunnel within a shark-filled lagoon. Meander through underwater walkways surrounded by fish – the resort is home to 65,000 marine animals – and visit the playful residents of Dolphin Bay conservation facility. There are also dedicated programmes catering for children from 3 years old, but when it comes to rooms, a Lost Chambers Suite with a window that looks directly into the Ambassador Lagoon, is simply mesmerising.
