Leisure Facilities
Atlantis’s Aquaventure Water Park is replete with rides and rapids. For those brave enough, the ‘Shark Attack’ propels you along a tunnel within a shark-filled lagoon. Meander through underwater walkways surrounded by fish – the resort is home to 65,000 marine animals – and visit the playful residents of Dolphin Bay conservation facility. There are also dedicated programmes catering for children from 3 years old, including Atlantis Kids' Club (for 3 to 12-year-olds) and Club Rush (teenagers from 13 to 18 years old).
ShuiQui Spa at Atlantis The Palm is, quite simply, superb, incorporating a comprehensive collection of spa treatments, brands, products and expertise. With twenty-seven treatment rooms, a luxury pool-facing fitness suite and the ShuiQui hair salon, Atlantis offers every resource imaginable to pamper, polish and perfect. Choose treatments from a world-renowned spa menu, such as Shiseido body rituals, Clarins facials and Bastien Gonzalez foot treatments with remedies including deep-tissue massage, Japanese scalp and shoulder massage and aromatherapy. Japanese bathing ceremonies involve fragrant Japanese hydrotherapy, while the Arabian influence includes the use of Frankincense, almond oil and black mud fortified with minerals. New-age spa rituals include the popular Ear Candles and Four Hands Abyangam - as the name suggests, this involves the hands of two therapies for twice the amount of indulgence.
Prices include unlimited complimentary access to Aquaventure, the largest waterpark in Dubai, and the underwater world of the Lost Chambers, where you can view 65,000 marine animals. The Imperial Club at Atlantis has been designed to be a resort-within-a-resort and offers guests a range of exclusive privileges, including complimentary wireless internet access, complimentary breakfast at the lounge, Saffron or Kaleidoscope restaurants and special preferential rates for the spa and recreational facilities. Located on the twelfth floor, the Club Lounge, with its stunning views across Palm Island, offers a luxurious environment in which to work or relax and complimentary drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.
Dubai is the second largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates and has most definitely earned itself a world-famous reputation; deservedly so. It offers visitors a comprehensive entertainment package and iconic architecture which includes the world's tallest building, the world's largest fountain, world-class shopping and the world's most lavish hotels, such as the first seven-star hotel on the planet, Burj Al Arab. It's a city of 'world-bests' and if you add to that its pearly-white beaches, man-made islands, intriguing souks and sun-drenched sky, it also becomes one of the world's best cities.
