Property Highlights:+
Golf

On one side of Amanusa is the Indian Ocean; on the other, the emerald-green fairways of Bali National Golf Club, ranked among Asia's top five courses. Guests enjoy privileged access, including to the driving range, putting green and chipping green. Other options are Kuta Golf and Nirwana Bali Golf Club, designed by Greg Norman and offering a series of challenges beside rice fields and ocean, while further away, but a must-play for aficionados, Bali Handara Country Club boasts a championship course set in an extinct volcano (hotel guests receive complimentary golf clubs).

Romance

Sparkling, talc-white sands, brilliant blue ocean, dream luxury accommodation and Balinese hospitality are just a few things that attract starry-eyed twosomes to Amanusa. Book a bale at the Beach Club for a sunrise breakfast or private candlelit supper, a wonderfully romantic spot to share a special meal, charter a catamaran and drift along the coast, watching the sun melt into the sea, indulge in a pampering spa treatment, designed especially for two, in the privacy of your suite or book a tailored excursion and explore this remarkably romantic island together.

The Beach

Picture teal-blue seas rippled with sunlight caressing a beach of pure white sand. Amanusa's private Beach Club occupies a prime location on the Nusa Dua peninsula, famous for its stunning, palm-edged, coastline. Sumptuous loungers and bales are dotted about for sunning and relaxing, while the Beach Club also offers lunches, snacks and drinks. The sea is steps away for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkelling - there's a beautiful coral reef offshore. And if you stay between November and March, the waves are bigger for surfing.

Culture & History

Famous for centuries-old temples in exotic backdrops, some of Bali's show-stoppers can be toured with experienced guides from Amanusa. Atop an incredible limestone outcrop thrashed by waves, the 11th century sea temple at Uluwatu is truly beautiful and the perfect viewpoint for Balinese sunsets. Another gem is the Hindu temple of Geger, where you can watch traditional Kecak dancing. Even Amanusa's design evokes Bali's unique spirit and heritage, featuring a temple with resident priest and decorative teak sculptures etched with scenes from the Ramayana.

Hotel Experiences

Sail along the turquoise-coloured coast to the outlying island of Nusa Lembongan during a full-day excursion with ample time to chill out on the beach and take a dip in the sea. Another interesting sea-going excursion is aboard a traditional jukung, a small boat used by local fishermen. Back on land, cycle bougainvillea-draped lanes around the resort or opt for a guided and somewhat tougher bike tour of local villages and highlands. Amanusa's guest assistants can also arrange jaunts to shops and markets for finding Balinese keepsakes.

Spa & Wellness

Experience Balinese and Swedish massages from Amanusa's resident masseuses in your private suite, beach Bale or the specifically designed massage suite. There are also treatments that apply concentrated acupressure, as well as a weekly visiting Reflexologist and Amansara's very own Reiki Master, on-hand to promote healing, rejuvenation and serenity.

Weddings

Whisk your loved one to Amanusa and declare "I do" overlooking the Indian Ocean, a fabulous backdrop for a ceremony whether you fancy something small or grand. Follow this with a celebratory cocktail party, light lunch or multi-course feast in a venue of your choice, alfresco or indoors. Everything's taken care of by a team of discreet wedding planners, including the bespoke stationery, hairstyling and make-up, photos and videos, live entertainment and, of course, those menus. You can even book Amanusa for exclusive use, for the ultimate matrimonial occasion!
